This picture was taken for my senior year portrait for high school just a few months before my 17th birthday. A Walmart job, but it was an okay picture I guess. You will never again see me wearing a cross, wearing a bead necklace (made by a friend -- at the time, you could not seperate me from it), or weigh 130 pounds. You will find me wearing the same kind of shirts though. I never grew out of wearing the color "ash-gray". In fact, as I write this, I'm wearing a sleeveless shirt that's ash-gray (pictured in the photo above dated February 2004).

How groggy was I? I had just woken up and walked downstairs (from one of my Grandma's guest bedrooms) Thanksgiving Day and my Aunt Susan spun me around while someone snapped our picture. I suspect my mother. If you look closely, you can see that I was in desperate need of a shave too. I'm also wearing my GenerationNext tee-shirt (also ash-gray) that I got free from Pepsi (Pepsi owns Taco Bell, K.F.C., and Pizza Hut -- I worked management at K.F.C. -- do the math).

Another just-woken-up picture. My mom came to visit me on my 20th birthday while I was working as a co-manager for a K.F.C. in Sonora, CA. Man, I really needed a haircut. I could do with some extra fashion sense too -- that's a female lion tee-shirt there that I got talked into buying from my ex-boss to help raise funds for something I can't even recall anymore. No, I don't still own the tee-shirt, but I do still own the fleece blanket my mother got me that birthday.
